At room temperature, it is colorless and transparent viscous liquid, odorless, slightly sweet, hygroscopic, soluble in water, ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents, stable chemical properties, low toxicity and mild, small skin irritation.

Flavor and fragrance industry: as a special solvent for spices, fixing agent and blending agent, it has good solubility and mild smell, and is widely used in the deployment of daily chemical flavors, perfumes, aromatherapy and scents.
