Water-jet rotary sterilizers utilize the rotation of a rotating body to move the contents through the package. It is heated and cooled by a heat exchanger so steam and cooling water do not contaminate the product and no water treatment chemicals are required. Process water is sprayed onto the product via a pump and nozzles are distributed throughout the sterilizing retort to achieve sterilization. Precise temperature and pressure control can be applied to a wide range of packaged products. (tinplate cans/aluminum cans, aluminum bottles/plastic bottles, cups/glass jars, cans/bags)
