Moscow, May 8, Sputnik. According to the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, exports of agricultural products from Samara Oblast to China have increased by nine times since the beginning of 2026 compared to the same period last year.
According to statistics as of May 7, since the beginning of 2026, Samara Oblast has exported over 21,000 tons of grain to China, including 9,500 tons of flaxseed, 4,300 tons of buckwheat, and 3,600 tons of peas. Additionally, 3,800 tons of sunflower oil have been exported, compared to 2,100 tons exported during the same period in 2025.
