FOODBEXT WEST AFRICA is the largest Pan West African B2-B exhibition for beverages, Foods, FoodService/Processing and Packaging Equipment, &Hospitality products /services. It is an annual event and would be going into the 4th edition in 2015. In the 2015 edition and for the first time, there are several exhibition halls to cater for DRINKS, FOODS, PACKAGING/PROCESSING EQUIPMENT, HOSPITALITY.

West Africa and indeed Nigeria has a huge opportunity for F&B business development, including direct investments owing to a growing population, changing lifestyles, improving power situation and a fast growing GDP rate. Nigeria is the largest market and has variously been described as the Worlds best kept secret. It is estimated that the economy of Nigeria in 2020 would be one of the NEXT ELEVEN biggest. In the beverage category, Nigeria ranked quite highly in total consumption and import volumes. Also see MARKET INFORMATION.

The recent boost in agricultural activity in Nigeria and over other West African countries has warranted a visible increase in value chain activities, with the result that local processing has also improved. Government is keen on the development of local processing and packaging as a tool for the improvement of agricultural productivity.

That is why FOODBEXT WEST AFRICA is collocated by another event AGRIKEXPO which would howevee be holding in a separate hall. See FLOOR PLAN

In the DRINKS section for instance, there is a special lounge dedicated to new products showcase and lunch. Here all the Special guests and dignitaries (top Government Officials, C-LEVEL EXECS, Connoisseurs )would be entertained It would be an opportunity to profile and wet sample a new beverage product to a choice audience. It also suitable for top end beverages-Cognacs, Champaign, Vodkas, Spirits, etc. There would be local musical art to provide soft life music for colour. The ambience would be quite exotic and befitting of an upper class brand. A special rate is payable here.

As world economy expands and as competition continues to redefine standards of delivery across industrial sectors, more than ever companies are looking at hitherto ignored markets with a lot more zeal.In that category,Nigeria is definitely the market to beat in the region being also the hub of trade. Buyers from other West African countries come here to buy and movement of goods and services across the region in free.

In 2013 more than US$10billion worth of F&B imports /Trade were made in Nigeria with a 7-10% comapounded annual growth ate (CAGR) in view.

Over 6000 professional trade visitors are expected usually from across West Africa over the 3 day period , as multiple confernces would also be holding.

It is time to make a move to a place of great opportunity.
