The modified starch(pregelatinized starch), with corn starch, cassava starch or potato as main raw material, turns them into a jellied condition of a rheological baby underhigh temperature,pressure and shearing force in an extruder, receives a lot of energy,changes its inherent physic and chemical attributes and finally makes products of modified starch( pregelatinized starch).The products are widely used in many industries such as building material,textile,petroleum drilling,foods, pharamaceutics and have a brisk market.

　　The specially built equipment for modified starch,made by Jinan Saixin Machinery Co.,Ltd. Adopts special barrel and screw structure and an advanced water/oil cooling system. Its screw is made of special alloy material with surface nitridation to enhance strength.The running temperature is adjustable and controllable.The revolution of the screw is completely controlled by a converter and the equipment realizes automatic operation after setting parameters to save running cost.The birth of our company model DZ140 double screw extruder puts the production level of the domestic denatured starch equipment to a new stage.The production capacity of the equipment reaches 800-1000kg./h in maximum extent satisfying the requirement of large production quantity of home and foreign manufacturers.
