The Haitian Institute of Natural High Density Nutrition focuses on the development of nutritional agriculture and biofortification technology, and develops high density natural nutrition varieties to solve the global hidden hunger problem. The main research team members include Chief Scientist (2021-2024) Tenured Professor of UCBerkeley, Randy W. Schenkman, winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, the team of Dr. Xie Zhujie of the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the team of Professor Zhang Chunyi of the Institute of Biotechnology of the Chinese Academy of Anthropology, chief scientist of high-folate maize. The institute has certifications of Shanghai high-tech enterprises, and has more than 30 software intellectual property and other patents and new variety identifications, and has experimental bases in Shanghai, Yunnan, Jiangsu, Xinjiang, Tianjin and other places.
