Upper Crust Bakery recalls bread products because of glass contamination

Upper Crust Bakery LP, of Glenn Dale, MD, is recalling multiple bread products because of the presence of glass fragments found on top of the bread. 

The recall, initiated on April 12, 2025, is classified as a Class II recall, indicating a low risk of serious health consequences, though temporary or reversible effects may occur. The recall remains ongoing, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The affected products were distributed to stores in Pennsylvania, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware and Ohio.

    • Description: 4 oz, frozen, packaged in paper carton (corrugated), CP45

    • Product Quantity: 89 cases

  2. Multigrain Sourdough
    • Description: 18 oz, frozen, packaged in paper carton (corrugated), CP12
    • Code Information: Lot #90
    • Product Quantity: 699 cases
    • Recall Number: F-0742-2025
  3. Whole Grain Multigrain
    • Description: 20 oz, frozen, packaged in paper carton (corrugated), CP12
    • Code Information: Lot #92
    • Product Quantity: 30 cases
    • Recall Number: F-0743-2025

As of the posting of this recall, no illnesses have been reported in connection with this issue.
