drinktec is the worlds leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food sector. Our exhibitors are behind this success: 91 percent of them see drinktec as their No.1 trade fair. On show at this fair in Munich is the entire production and process chain in the sector, from raw materials and ingredients, to manufacturing, filling, packaging, logistics and marketing. The figures for drinktec 2013 speak for themselves: 132,000 square meters of exhibition space, 1,400 exhibitors from 76 countries and approx. 67,000 visitors from 183 countries. drinktec is firmly rooted and connected within the sector. The whole sector worldwide comes together on the five days of drinktec. The exhibitors put on a broad and well structured display of products and services from and for all segments. All sizes of company are here—global players, national technology leaders as well as SMEs. 95 percent of all the visitors particularly like the fact that the market leaders are here, 98 percent appreciate the shows in-depth coverage of the market. And the exhibitors see that enthusiasm reflected in their success, because: 52 percent of the exhibitors sign up new business at the show, 82 percent report good follow-on business, and 93 percent of them conclude that drinktec was worthwhile for them.

A global gathering
drinktec is the industrys most important international platform: 61 percent of the exhibitors (from 76 countries) and 62 percent of the visitors (from 183 countries) come from outside Germany. No other event attracts as many trade professionals, be it from Germany, or around the world. This international scope boosts communication and business: 94 percent of the exhibitors rate the atmosphere at drinktec as “excellent or good”.

Visitor quality and support
drinktec is most definitely an unmissable event. For anyone in the sector. The proportion of decision-makers amongst the trade audience is very high, at 84 percent. The quality of those visitors is also top-rate—92 percent of the exhibitors confirm this. The visitors, too, are highly satisfied: 98 percent of the visitors appreciate the quality and breadth of the products and services on show, and are happy to recommend drinktec to colleagues and business partners. Not surprisingly, drinktecs visitors stay very faithful to their show: 97 percent of them are repeat visitors. And the good news continues: 95 percent of the visitors think that drinktec is becoming even more important for their industry.
