Ingredion has added four new products with a clean taste (CT) to its range of pulse based proteins and flours.

Vitessence Pulse CT proteins and Homecraft Pulse CT flours enable food manufacturers to formulate protein enriched products in flavour sensitive applications. The neutral flavour profile of the proteins and flours is created using heat moisture technology.

The two new Vitessence CT proteins, made from pea and faba bean, can be used to boost the protein content of high moisture applications such as dairy and beverages.

Made from pea and lentil, the clean taste of the Homecraft Pulse CT flours allows higher dosages to be incorporated into low moisture applications, including sweet baked goods, pasta and snacks, without any negative impact on the flavour or sensory experience of the product.
