Not long ago, due to severe weather including a typhoon and heavy rain, the price of leafy vegetables in Beijing increased significantly. Recently, as it became cold, the supply of vegetables increased and the price of Beijing vegetables was falling steadily. The wholesale price of vegetables in the Xinfadi market has shown a downward trend. The retail price of vegetables in supermarkets has also dropped by more than 30% compared with more than ten days ago. The supply of vegetables is constantly increasing, and there is still room for a decline in the price of vegetables in Beijing.

The price of vegetables has decreased significantly in recent days. The retail prices of rapeseed, small cabbages and lettuce decreased by 58.4%, 48.1% and 32.9% respectively. At present, the price of most leafy vegetables has dropped by about half compared with the previous weeks. The prices of other vegetables such as cucumber and eggplants have remained stable or decreased slightly.

Most vegetable prices have declined, with only a few varieties having higher prices. Among them, the price of the popular coriander is 26.99 yuan / kg. However, after the beginning of autumn, the temperature in the northern region has begun to decline. Large volumes of coriander in Beijing and the surrounding areas are in the growing season. In two weeks or so, they will be ready to enter the market en masse and the price of coriander will dro rapidly.
