Orogel continues to collect great feedback in Russia for its innovative meals. Six products were introduced in C5 Retail Group "Perekrestok" stores in September. After the ban, many Serb and Chinese producers flooded the shelves of Russian chains, but nobody managed to conquer the market share as well as the Italian company did.

"We are proud of our collaboration with such an important Russian partner and want to develop this relationship. This is also why we are thinking about Russian-language packaging. After Azbuka Vkusa, a premium chain found in the best locations in Moscow, our products are now being sold in Perekrestok as well," explains export manager Andrea Bagnolini.

Two "typical Italian" products can be found in Perekrestok: "Potatoes and Artichokes" and "Spinach with Cherry tomatoes". They are the most popular of the entire Orogel assortment sold in Russia. Since the ban, frozen artichokes have disappeared from the shelves and its difficult to find fresh ones.

"We also aim to conquer the huge market that is Siberia," adds Orogels representative in Russia Evgeniya Kravchenko.

"For Russian consumers looking for healthy options, we have a Soup with Pulses and Vegetables and Couscous with Vegetables. Both products are essential for those living in busy cities like Moscow but who dont want to give up on healthy light meals. A Battered Vegetable Mix and Artichoke mini-burgers are also available. And we must point out that there are no products with such a high innovation and quality level on the Russian market." The lively packaging contributes to catch the attention of consumers.
