Camerican International of Paramus, NJ, is recalling 7.05 oz boxes of Aldi Brand Casa Mamita Churro Bites Filled with Chocolate Hazelnut Cream because of undeclared milk. 

This poses a serious or life-threatening risk to individuals with milk allergies or severe sensitivities.

The recall was prompted by a consumer report indicating that the milk-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not disclose the presence of milk. The issue was traced to a temporary breakdown in the company’s production and packaging processes, which has since been corrected.

The recalled products were distributed to selec Aldi stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
