A new lustre popping candy inclusion from Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe) will be giving bakery and dessert products a golden shimmer over the next few months.

The new milk chocolate coated popping candy, finished with a gold or red metallic sheen, is the latest addition to the companys range of inclusions, perfect for bakery, chilled and frozen desserts – and even cocktail drinks.

Lustre popping candy can be supplied in various bag sizes and bulk options, and it is available in a choice of individual 3mm pieces or multi pop clusters.

Pecan Deluxes managing director Graham Kingston says, "The key for this sector is to provide a luxury experience that can be positioned at a more profitable price point, thus improving margins – and specifying gold lustre popping candy is one simple and very effective way of achieving that."
