Plastivision Arabia 2016

The GCC packaging market is one of the fastest growing sectors in the manufacturing industry in the Middle East. Over the last decade, manufacturers have seen the benefit of bulk import & repackaging from the GCC given the tax-free, cheaper manufacturing costs and re export advantage.

The GCC is now the largest re-export market for Food & Beverages, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods leading to a booming packaging market.

With the announcement of world events like Expo 2020 ,FIFA world cup in Qatar and the continued emphasis on tourism and real estate, the GCC remains an important work & travel destination with the GCC packaging industry is at the threshold of attaining global importance.

The 2016 edition of PlastiVision Arabia will showcase processing, filling and packaging equipment & services, whilst the regional processing& re-packaging industry decision makers will be the visitors to the show.

After a phenomenal launch in 2012 and a repeat performance in 2014, preparations are under way for the third Plastivision Arabia international plastics exhibition and conference at Expo Centre Sharjah.

The second Plastivision Arabia held from April 7-10, 2014, improved on its impressive launch, registering a surge in space occupied by exhibitors, number of countries represented, and a rise in visitor turnout.

Being held along with mold-making and printing & packaging trade shows and a high-profile conference on plastics conversion, Plastivision Arabia 2014 literally transformed Sharjah into a mini hub of plastics, printing and packaging for a few days.

Together, these events brought the best of the technologies and machinery from across the world and became a knowledge-sharing and networking platform that is now regarded as a must for those from the industry.

Taking this highly successful platform forward, organizers Expo Centre Sharjah and All India Plastics Manufacturers Association have announced the biennial event’s third edition at Expo Centre from February  22-25, 2016.
