In pharmaceutical industry, nitrogen gas is widely used to prevent oxidation in manufacturing process, and also be used as an effective protection method for storage of easily oxidized agential. Usually, injections (penicillin, etc.) and infusions (amino acid, etc.) all need nitrogen filled protection, otherwise will be very easy to be oxidation during storage period. Stipulated by GMP (the pharmaceutical industry international standards), all parts contacting with medicine/ lotion must be stainless steel and sterilization.
