This sensor use Multi-Element receiver Array to measure the target distance ranged from 15mm-100mm, with accuracy of +/-1mm. Compared with the popular Sharp analog distance sensor, this sensor has an I2C digital output that is linearly proportional to the target distance and can be read by a MCU directly. User will not need to do the linearization calculation as in the case of Sharp sensor.
