"Description
Apigenin is an antioxidant compound that naturally occurs in plants. It can be found in herbs and vegetables, such as parsley, onions, oranges, chamomile, wheat sprouts, and some seasonings.
Apigenin possess anti-inflammatory and bactericidal, relaxant activities, as well as acaricidal properties. It is useful for treatment of stomachache, irritable bowel syndrome, and insomnia.
Aside from its biological effects, apigenin is a yellow crystalline commonly used to dye garments.
