Deosen Biochemical Co. was incorporated in July 13, 2005, and is headquartered in Linzi District, Zibo City, Shandong Province. The predecessor company, known as Shandong Zhongxuan Corporation Ltd,was founded in 1992 as one of the world's largest manufacturers of xanthan gum. On February 9, 2010, the company invested in a second production facility located in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Deosen is mainly involved in water-soluble biocolloids , featuring microbial polysaccharidexanthan gum. The company’s branded names of Ziboxan”, “Zibozan” and “Deosen”have won several provincial and municipal awards including the "Science and Technology Progress Award" and the "China Food Additives and Ingredients Association Award." In 1996, Deosen Xanthan Gum was rated as a "China Food Additives Quality Product". Deosen is also listed in the “Current Catalogue of Key Industries, Products and Technologies, the Development of Which Is Encouraged by the State”, released by the State Science and Technology Commission. After years of research and development, Deosen is leading the industry with xanthan gum as its major product, supplemented with multiple microbial products.
