Liposovit®-Mg

                                   
"Liposovit®-Mg is liposomal magnesium (Mg) in powder form, obtained through the use of innovative technology designed 

to break down the body's absorption barriers. Encapsulation of magnesium inside the liposomal vesicle determines its high 

bioavailability. Thus, our innovative product effectively supports the proper functioning of the body.

Commercially available oral preparations of magnesium differ in their chemical form and the form of the finished product, 

which directly affects their bioavailability (1,2). Increasing the efficiency of active ingredient absorption, while ensuring 

controlled release and targeted transport in the human body, is achieved by encapsulating it in liposomes.

The innovative technology implemented by the Research & Development Department of BART allowed us to obtain liposomes

composed of a single bilayer of phosphatidylcholine (lecithin) molecules, constituting the outer barrier of the liposomal vesicle

and enclosing in the water phase magnesium citrate molecules. 

Liposovit®-Mg developed by us:

• exhibits, typically for liposomal formulations, higher bioavailability than the traditional form, which translates into increased 

effectiveness of supplementation

• protects sensitive gastric epithelium from irritation caused by conventional forms of magnesium citrate

• dissolves very well in water

• is biodegradable and biocompatible

• has a GMO-free composition.

Additionally, the liposome dehydration applied:

• increases – due to the powder form – the storage stability of Liposovit®-Mg, eliminating the need for maintaining low 

storage temperatures

• allows for simplification of product formulation. Exclusion of preservatives, alcohol and other harmful organic solvents 

from both the technological process and the final formulation makes Liposovit®-Mg safe for people suffering from 

a wide range of food hypersensitivities

• enables problem-free use of the product in powder mixtures."
