On April 1, the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration issued a notice. Under the guidance of the State Administration of Market Supervision, the draft national standard ''Determination of Chondroitin Sulfate in Health Foods'' proposed and centralized by the National Special Food Standardization Technical Committee was publicly solicited on the national standard information public service platform for comments, and the comments were solicited as of May 29. After the approval and release of the standard, the determination process and technical requirements of chondroitin sulfate will be standardized.

On April 1, the recommended national standard "Classification and Determination of TCM Constitution" (GB/T 46939-2025) was officially implemented with the approval of the General Administration of Market Supervision (National Standards Committee). Since the 1970 s, the team of Professor Wang Qi, a tenured professor at Beijing University of traditional Chinese Medicine, has divided Chinese people into nine basic physique types. For a long time, this theory has been mainly applied to clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, and its application in the field of public health management and product development is relatively limited. The formal implementation of this national standard marks the broader industrial application of this theory, and provides a scientific basis and operation for the precise development of medicine and food homologous products.
