The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) will virtually host its annual conference March 23-25. Everyone in the global food & beverage industry, especially those involved in food safety, is encouraged to attend.

"After a challenging year for the food safety sector in particular, the conference will focus on the topic of Food Safety: Rethink, Reset, Recharge – reflecting on the lessons from the year and how we can move forward," GFSI says. Speakers include leaders from Mondelez, Cargill, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Mars, Walmart, Amazon, Target, HelloFresh and the World Health Organization.

The conference will explore the most urgent topics in food safety – from Covid-19, supply chain disruption and public health, to building trust and transparency with consumers, as well as best practices, leading innovations and technologies set to shape the future of food safety.

“With the conference taking place virtually for the first time, it’s easier than ever before for food industry professionals to get involved – and we’re urging people from all corners of the globe to ensure they’re part of this unique and collaborative forum," said Erica Sheward, director of GFSI. "Food safety is everyone’s business, and we must continue to work together to build consumers’ trust in the food they buy.”
GFSI promises some interactivity, so there may be ways to ask questions of the speakers and panelists.
