Ferrero to Buy UK Healthy Snack Company

The Ferrero Group has announced plans to buy Eat Natural, a British manufacturer of cereal bars, toasted muesli and granola.

Ferrero plans to take over Eat Natural’s production facility in Halstead, UK, retaining the current management and workforce. Terms of the deal, which is expected to close in the next few months, were not disclosed.

"Eat Natural are an excellent strategic fit for the Ferrero Group as we continue to expand our overall footprint and product offerings into the healthier snacking market segment," Giovanni Ferrero, executive chairman of the Ferrero Group, said in a statement.
